Homey started in a spreadsheet. Our founder was renting out her homes and quickly realized the people knocking on her door didn't all want the same thing — some wanted a week, some wanted six months, some wanted to settle in for years.

Every platform forced her to pick a lane. Airbnb for the weekenders. Furnished Finder for the traveling nurses. Zillow for the long-term tenants. Three listings, three inboxes, three sets of rules — for the same front door.

So she built the tool she wished existed: one place to synthesize the interest across short-term, mid-term, and long-term renters. One listing, multiple timeframes, multiple price points — and a matchmaking engine that lets tenants describe what they actually need so landlords can come to them.
